Dr. Devrim Oskay,

İlk, orta ve lise eğitimini Balıkesir ilimizde, üniversite eğitimini Tekirdağ Namık Kemal Üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi, Zootekni (Hayvansal Üretim) Bölümünde tamamlamıştır. Yüksek Lisansını yine aynı üniversitede, bal arılarının yetiştirilmesi üzerine, Prof. Dr. Muhsin Doğaroğlu nun danışmanlığında tamamlamıştır. Doktorasını Amerika Birleşik Devletlerinde bulunan, Puerto Rico Üniversitesi, Biyoloji Bölümünde, bal arısı genetiği ve davranışı üzerine, Doç.Dr.Tuğrul Giray ın danışmanlığında aralık 2007 de tamalamıştır. Dr. Devrim Oskay doktorasını yaparken , şu anda California Davis Üniversitesinde damızlık ana yetiştirme projesini yöneten Susan Cobey ile yapay tohumlama tekniği ve ıslah programları üzerinede çalışmıştır.

Dr. Devrim Oskay, doktora sonrası çalışmalarına devam etmek üzere yine Amerika Birleşik Devletlerinde bulunan Washington State Üniversitesinde bal arısı laboratuarını yöneten, Prof.Dr.Steve Sheppard’ ın daveti üzerine, damızlık ana arı yetiştirme projesinde çalışmaya başlamıştır. Proje, California Davis Üniversitesi ile ortak çalışılarak sürdürülmektedir.

Mechanisms of behavior regulation in honey bees. Post doctoral research training in biology, especially in the field of social insects to grow as an independent researcher. Honey bee breeding and insemination techniques to study and work of genetic of behavior.
